Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Portal Team

• Create, enhance, and support common product features
• Participate in the complete software development life cycle in an Agile environment
• Perform technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, maintenance, test automation, deployments, and upgrades
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Test Engineers, Business Stakeholders, DevOps, DBAs, and Systems Engineers
• Design, develop, and contribute to important product functionality
• Mentor, coach, and empower technical team members
• Understand customer needs and business goals
• Act as a technical lead for features or epics and complete loosely defined work requiring technical and design discovery
• Advocate for best practices and balance technical debt with delivery
• Review code to ensure flexibility, reusability, extensibility, performance, and quality
• Decompose outcomes into solutions composed of multiple interacting software components
• Consider technical dependencies and provide feedback on proposed organizational changes
• Participate in cross-team collaboration
• Demonstrate software quality through unit and integration test automation
• Build relationships and communicate with stakeholders across the organization
• Analyze and lead improvements to team systems and software
• Manage risks, escalate priorities, and help resolve issues affecting production quality

• Must be based anywhere in the Czech Republic
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile front-end development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and asynchronous data fetching
• Strong understanding of mobile UX best practices and responsive design principles
• Experience building reusable components and front-end libraries
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, React, Angular, and CSS
• Experience with unit and integration test automation
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality work
• Eager to learn and stay current with new technologies
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an Agile team environment
• Strong ownership and accountability, with a proactive attitude toward sharing ideas and seeking feedback
• Ability to mentor and coach less-experienced team members
• Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day
• Ability to operate computers, phone systems, and multiple software programs
