Freelance Long-Term EN – Traditional Chinese (TW) Life Science Translator

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Investment Banking sectors
• Translate English into Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
• Work on LS-Clinical-Legal materials
• Create and finalize translated deliverables before client submission
• Collaborate with managers and Project Managers
• Complete translation and MTPE skills tests
• Provide relevant experience and proposed rates in the CV

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
• Specialized in life sciences, clinical, or legal translation
• Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
• Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines
• Asian time zone preferred
• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement
• Must complete free Translation and MTPE tests
• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training, from a recognized higher-education institution; OR
• 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR
• 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR
• A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
• Relevant Translation and MTPE experience
• Applicants must submit a latest CV including proposed Translation per-word and MTPE hourly rates in USD
