Strategy & Operations Lead

• Run client engagements end to end, owning workplans, cadence, calls, diagnosis, priorities, execution, and handoff
• Serve as day-to-day client relationship owner alongside a ClearEngine partner
• Lead difficult conversations with senior leadership
• Read P&Ls and budgets, pressure-test financial models, and make decisions on pricing, positioning, and spending
• Translate strategic direction into concrete actions
• Monitor market signals and refine plans accordingly
• Manage junior staff and specialists day to day
• Keep partners informed and ahead of issues
• Work through clients’ teams to ensure implemented systems continue after the engagement

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in high-growth, dynamic, or demanding environments, including operating companies, consulting, finance, venture capital, private equity, or startups
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, founders, C-suite executives, investors, or owning client relationships
• Experience managing a P&L, budget, and KPIs with decision-making responsibility
• Operating and management experience with ownership of decisions and outcomes
• Cross-functional experience across finance, marketing, and operations, with depth in at least one area
• Strong problem-solving, strategic, and analytical thinking
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop analysis-supported points of view
• Management and delegation experience, including scoping work, briefing clearly, and maintaining quality standards
• Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience working directly with U.S.-based founders, executives, or clients
• Presentation skills and polish with demanding clients and senior stakeholders
