Accounting Analyst

• Accounting classification, reconciliation, and bookkeeping
• Bank reconciliation and analysis of financial transactions
• Importing, reviewing, and processing accounting information
• Integrating information from the Tax and Payroll departments with Accounting
• Analyzing and closing trial balances
• Preparing and reviewing the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
• Monitoring and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Identifying and correcting accounting inconsistencies
• Organizing and tracking items required for the month-end close
• Supporting the preparation and filing of the department’s ancillary tax and regulatory obligations
• Supporting the calculation and documentation of profit distributions
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date accounting records
• Meeting the monthly closing schedule and internal department procedures
• Identifying problems, seeking solutions, and taking responsibility for a client portfolio

• Completed or ongoing degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and closing procedures
• Knowledge of accounting reconciliation and classification
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Organized and reliable when managing deadlines
• Comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to professional growth
• Active CRC registration
• Knowledge of Domínio accounting software (a plus)
• Experience with companies under Brazil’s Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit tax regimes (a plus)
• Experience with service-provider companies (a plus)
• Knowledge of financial statements and profit distributions (a plus)
