Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer

• Design, operate, secure, and continuously improve highly available cloud platforms and delivery systems
• Own reliability outcomes across application and infrastructure services
• Reduce operational toil through automation and guide engineering teams on production readiness
• Provide expert support for AWS and Amazon EKS
• Administer Bitbucket and GitLab repositories, branching strategies, merge controls, and release governance
• Design and maintain Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines with reusable templates, shared libraries, and environment promotion models
• Integrate code-quality, security, container, and secret scanning into pipelines
• Enable rolling, blue-green, and canary deployments with automated rollback
• Own cloud environments across development, test, staging, and production
• Operate AWS services and design resilient multi-AZ network and compute patterns
• Implement Terraform infrastructure as code, drift detection, reusable modules, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability procedures
• Design, provision, upgrade, and support production-grade Amazon EKS clusters
• Operate Kubernetes workloads and deploy via Helm and GitOps
• Implement EKS security controls and troubleshoot scheduling, networking, and autoscaling issues
• Engineer centralized logging with Splunk and/or Datadog
• Deploy and maintain Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager monitoring
• Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, availability targets, dashboards, actionable alerts, ownership, and runbooks
• Improve escalation paths and lead major-incident response
• Drive blameless post-incident reviews and maintain runbooks, SOPs, dependency maps, and production-readiness checklists
• Automate repetitive tasks with Python, Bash, and APIs
• Perform capacity planning, resilience testing, and mentor engineers
• Own vulnerability-management workflows and coordinate VAPT remediation
• Integrate SAST, DAST, dependency, container, IaC, and secret scanning
• Support IAM reviews, key and certificate rotation, privileged-access controls, audit logging, and compliance/risk reporting

• 10–12+ years in DevOps, SRE, cloud, platform, or production operations engineering
• 3+ years in a senior/lead capacity
• Demonstrated production ownership on AWS, including EC2, VPC, load balancers, S3, RDS, EMR, CloudWatch, and IAM
• Deep hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD
• Expert-level Docker and Kubernetes experience, including Amazon EKS clusters and workloads
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager
• Practical infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Helm
• Strong Python and Bash automation skills
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, load balancing, IAM, storage, and distributed systems
• Experience with incident management, RCA, post-incident reviews, SLOs, capacity planning, and backup/recovery
• Experience managing vulnerabilities and VAPT findings and implementing security controls
• Clear written and verbal communication
