Principal Product Manager – ClickHouse Cloud

• Lead the development and delivery of ClickHouse Cloud
• Define and drive the product roadmap for cloud-native database capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and deliver improvements to the database engine, storage layer, and query optimizer
• Engage directly with customers through interactions, feedback, and market research
• Work with design, marketing, operations, and sales on feature launches, blog posts, product positioning, and messaging
• Define and track KPIs to measure product success
• Serve as the primary contact for product-related communications
• Manage stakeholder expectations and keep stakeholders informed
• Help shape company culture as part of a rapidly scaling startup

• Minimum 8+ years of product management experience
• Strong background in cloud-based SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with database systems, distributed systems, or real-time analytics platforms strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Strong understanding of query execution, indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or other columnar databases
• Understanding of data lakes, ETL pipelines, CDC, and data orchestration frameworks
• Ability to work with engineering on schema management, query planning, storage engines, and schema design
• Experience designing and delivering database replication, consistency models, and backup/restore workflows
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with consumption-based or usage-based billing systems and cloud marketplaces
• Cloud-native SaaS domain product management experience
• Must address work authorization/sponsorship for the Netherlands
