IT Asset Specialist

• Design, implement and maintain the end-to-end IT Asset Management practice for hardware, software and SaaS lifecycles
• Formulate, document and enforce ITAM policies, procedures and compliance frameworks
• Oversee asset onboarding, status and health tracking, hardware refresh cycles, replacement, upgrades and retirement
• Manage secure sanitization and disposal processes for sensitive-data assets
• Monitor software license entitlements and usage to drive right-sizing and reclamation
• Conduct software reconciliations to maintain audit readiness and mitigate risks
• Partner with Procurement and Finance on vendor renewals, hardware leasing and true-up negotiations
• Own and administer the enterprise ITAM platform
• Establish automated integrations with discovery tools, identity providers, ITSM and CMDB systems
• Maintain accurate asset records and perform audits and reconciliations
• Build, own and govern the CMDB in HALO ITSM with Virima and Certero
• Define CI relationships, taxonomy and data attributes for ITSM practices
• Implement automated discovery routines, data controls and CMDB health checks
• Develop executive ITAM dashboards and reports on utilization, compliance exposure and savings
• Identify and mitigate risks related to EOL assets, unapproved software and compliance breaches
• Translate business processes and IT requirements into functional requirements and process improvements
• Provide stakeholder training and documentation on ITAM procedures, workflows and tools

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of proven experience in IT Asset Management, covering hardware, software and SaaS
• Hands-on experience with software license compliance, reconciliation and vendor audits
• Knowledge of major publisher licensing models is a plus
• Technical background with ability to set up, configure and integrate systems
• Experience with Virima, Certero, HALO ITSM or similar ITAM/CMDB tooling is a must
• Solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices and CMDB data modelling
• ITIL 4/5 or ITAM certification (e.g. IAITAM CHAMP/CSAM) is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex processes into actionable requirements, reports and dashboards
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail and dedication to high-quality data and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, global environment
