Account Manager, Defense

• Identify and execute growth initiatives for the Defense Business in Mexico
• Work with key accounts to drive profitable growth for the global business
• Develop sustainable relationships with key end-users in alignment with the Regional LA Sales Manager
• Execute the regional sales opportunity pipeline
• Ensure accurate sales forecasting
• Manage relationships with end-users to maximize enterprise value
• Execute global initiatives locally and participate in transformational culture initiatives
• Represent DuPont’s interests at standards and association meetings
• Develop, analyze, and implement high-growth projects and new business models within the segment
• Develop and implement account plans for key end-users
• Negotiate offerings, contracts, price changes, sales deals, and other programs
• Support creation, management, and negotiation of growth marketing programs
• Facilitate relationships between all levels of DuPont and customers
• Drive business opportunities to exceed revenue, profit, and growth targets

• Bachelor’s degree from a respected university in Engineering, Business, or similar fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Sales experience or experience as an agent influencing strategic Sales in a global corporate environment
• Military, law enforcement, or advanced materials experience is a plus
• Ability to establish high-level global connections with internal and external stakeholders, including C-Level executives
• Independent and solution-driven approach with a focus on business growth
• Understanding of private and public sector B2B markets and technical sales
• Learning agility and strong communication skills with small and large audiences
• Ability to simplify complex problems
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to think strategically and develop an execution plan
• Experience with sales pipeline/opportunity management tools
• Ability to work autonomously in a matrix environment
• Strong professional presence, business acumen, and negotiation skills
• Ability to drive the Challenger sales approach
• Ability to identify and drive opportunities exceeding revenue, profit, and growth targets
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment

• Fluent in English and advanced Spanish
• Previous experience in the ballistic protection industry and tender-driven businesses preferred
• Formal training in ballistic protection and understanding of international standards, main threats, candidate materials, and roles in protective systems preferred
