Senior Site Reliability Engineer

• Guide reliability, scalability, and security architecture across the mission-critical platform
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability practices
• Design resilient cloud-native infrastructure
• Institute platform-wide observability
• Architect and standardize SLO/SLI frameworks and error-budget policies across engineering groups
• Lead the design and rollout of secure, scalable Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native Kubernetes environments
• Drive observability strategy by evaluating, implementing, and optimizing telemetry solutions across distributed systems
• Lead incident response during critical system events
• Facilitate blameless post-incident reviews and drive systemic mitigation strategies
• Build automation frameworks and platform tools in Python or Go
• Eliminate operational friction and automatically enforce security compliance
• Mentor and advise software and reliability engineers
• Foster continuous learning, collaboration, and engineering quality

• 5+ years of experience managing high-throughput distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale, or equivalent demonstrated capability
• Advanced expertise in Kubernetes, Linux internals, cloud networking, and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and AWS
• Strong proficiency in Python or Go for building automation tools and system integrations
• Proven track record leading incident response, blameless post-mortems, and root-cause prevention across complex architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Professional certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKS) or cloud providers (AWS Solutions Architect) are nice-to-have
• Understanding of compliance and security frameworks, including SOC 2 and CIS benchmarks
