Blockchain Investigator, Law Enforcement Liaison

• Analyze virtual currency transactions using state-of-the-art blockchain analytics tools
• Trace transaction histories, identify patterns, and uncover illicit activities within blockchain networks
• Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies
• Provide detailed reports and insights on blockchain activities to support criminal investigations
• Respond to and action incoming law enforcement requests
• Gather relevant data, conduct thorough analyses, and deliver timely, accurate information
• Enhance law enforcement understanding of illicit-activity patterns and indicators on the blockchain
• Monitor developments in blockchain technology, virtual currency trends, and regulatory changes
• Improve analytical methods and tools using current industry knowledge
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, cybersecurity, and management stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal, Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience with blockchain analytics, preferably Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic
• Deep and proven understanding of cryptocurrency transaction patterns and potential indicators of criminal activity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms for law enforcement personnel
• Experience working with law enforcement agencies is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent English communication skills
