Senior BI Technical Lead

• Provide technical leadership to the team, promoting best practices in development, data modeling, and BI architecture
• Serve as the technical reference for building and evolving analytical solutions, ensuring the quality, performance, and standardization of deliverables
• Lead requirements-gathering meetings with business teams and stakeholders, translating needs into data solutions and business metrics
• Map processes, identify opportunities, and translate business demands into functional and technical specifications
• Manage requests, prioritize activities, and track the team’s schedules and deliverables
• Assign tasks and support analysts’ development through mentoring and technical guidance
• Monitor deliverable quality, ensuring alignment with business requirements and expectations
• Develop and enhance data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI
• Create metrics, KPIs, and visualizations focused on performance, usability, and business value generation
• Drive continuous improvement of BI and Analytics processes, tools, and practices

• Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Knowledge of Workspace administration, Gateway, Row-Level Security (RLS), scheduled refreshes, and governance of Power BI environments
• Experience developing ETL processes using Power Query (M language)
• Proficiency in DAX for creating metrics, KPIs, and analytical modeling
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and BI architecture
• Experience with Data Warehousing (DW), ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures
• Ability to build business-oriented dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions
• A plus: experience with Databricks
• A plus: knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
• A plus: experience working in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• A plus: familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
