Electrical Engineer, Project Manager – Smart Grid Software

• Coordinate, plan, and lead strategic Smart Grid IT projects from commissioning through successful go-live
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and coordinate all project phases
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Ensure the integration of Venios.NET into existing IT landscapes
• Collaborate with development teams, customer departments, and external service providers
• Support the testing and rollout of new features
• Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures
• Identify customer needs and contribute ideas for the further development of Venios.NET
• Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification, with demonstrable knowledge of electrical engineering
• Several years of project management experience implementing software projects, ideally in the energy sector
• IPMA or comparable project management certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Several years of experience in building and operating electrical distribution networks preferred
• Very good IT knowledge and a strong affinity for software development
• Knowledge of technical guidelines, laws, and contracts
• Empathetic, audience-appropriate communication skills and the ability to manage conflicts
• Structured, analytical, and goal-oriented working style, with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Action-oriented, persistent, and solution-focused approach, with a high level of resilience and enthusiasm for change
• Strong team-player mindset
• Good English and very good German skills
• Residence in or work authorization for Germany or Austria
