QA Team Lead – Automation, AI

• Own the automation strategy and roadmap
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers
• Build automation frameworks hands-on
• Embed AI-assisted testing into QA workflows
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing tools, including AI-generated test cases, self-healing locators, AI-driven visual regression, flaky-test detection, and triage
• Evaluate and pilot emerging AI/QA tooling
• Make build-vs-buy decisions for QA and AI tooling
• Plan and execute QA activities
• Define and enforce QA standards
• Integrate automated and AI-assisted checks into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable testing outcomes
• Reduce manual regression effort by expanding automation coverage and introducing AI-assisted test maintenance

• Bulgaria-based candidates only
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Automation QA
• At least 2 years leading the QA strategy
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM tooling to QA, such as AI-generated test cases, self-healing test scripts, LLM-assisted test data generation, intelligent flaky-test detection, or AI code-review/test-coverage analysis tools
• Solid experience with Playwright and Maestro
• Experience with test management tools such as Testdino, PractiTest, or similar
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Deque, Axe-core, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline architecture and integration, including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
• Proven track record designing and scaling test automation frameworks from scratch
• Comfortable prototyping scripts/tools with Python or TypeScript
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
