Senior Golang Developer

• Design, build, and operate backend systems powering a large-scale video content platform
• Build and continuously improve Go and Node.js backend services in a microservices architecture
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven services using AWS EventBridge, SQS, and RabbitMQ
• Write high-performing, maintainable, well-structured, and well-tested code following SOLID principles
• Contribute to system design discussions and evolve service architecture using serverless and event-driven patterns
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance in production systems
• Work with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Redshift
• Deploy and operate services using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
• Monitor, debug, and improve systems using Honeycomb, Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
• Partner with DevOps and SRE teams on infrastructure, deployment workflows, and operational practices using Terraform and GitOps
• Participate in pair programming, mob programming, YAGNI, and Test-Driven Development
• Participate in on-call rotations and support production systems
• Contribute to organization-wide backend engineering efforts and knowledge sharing across teams

• Ideal experience range of 6–10 years; candidates with lower experience levels may apply if they demonstrate technical maturity and strong fundamentals
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and working knowledge of Node.js
• Experience building distributed microservices and API-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and event-driven backend systems
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and/or Redshift
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments
• Exposure to Docker-based service development and deployment
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
• Experience operating and debugging systems using Honeycomb, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
• Understanding of fault tolerance, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Working experience with Extreme Programming practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and curiosity
• Interest in Machine Learning, NLP, and AI
