Cloud System Administrator

• Monitor system health, network, and performance tooling across the ClearDATA Secure Cloud
• Validate alerts and triage incoming tickets by type and urgency
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers hosting systems on the ClearDATA Secure Cloud
• Resolve common access issues, account changes, and low-risk fixes using runbooks and procedures
• Investigate and resolve escalated incidents using logs and performance metrics
• Perform root cause analysis and restore service quickly
• Author, test, and execute approved infrastructure change requests
• Verify infrastructure changes to prevent problems or downtime
• Tune monitoring and alerting to improve signal-to-noise
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or native cloud templates
• Ensure cloud deployments follow healthcare compliance frameworks and internal security standards
• Maintain ticket records and technical documentation
• Contribute to and update runbooks and SOPs
• Participate in shift handoffs

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or systems administration experience
• Experience working from runbooks and SOPs and troubleshooting independently
• Practical knowledge of at least one major public cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Willingness to learn and troubleshoot across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Strong background in networking, identity and access management, and Linux and Windows operating system administration
• Working proficiency in scripting such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Interest in building infrastructure automation
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and patiently with customers
• Professional-level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
