Senior Associate, Operations – Payments

• Process Payments and Fund Transfer in USD and local currency under IRU according to the Bank’s internal policies, SOPs, OPMs, ADMs, and applicable ICC guidelines
• Cover all areas of Trade Finance for various business segments
• Process transactions according to SOPs/OPMs and UCP/ISBP/URC requirements
• Recover charges according to applicable guidelines
• Handle incoming and outgoing MT103 and MT202 payment messages
• Work with CHIPS and FED payments and SWIFT investigations
• Authorize and input transactions into the processing system
• Prepare and authorize relevant SWIFT messages
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Team Head
• Share errors and knowledge gaps with the line manager/team to address customer service issues
• Prevent revenue leakage
• Ensure no outstanding reconciliation entries remain in Nostro or internal accounts

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant working experience in Trade Operations
• Experience in handling cross border Payments including expert level knowledge of MT 100 series, MT 200 series and MT 700 series is a must
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Attentive to details, strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure, have excellent organizational skills and good team player
