Senior Full Stack Engineer, Mobile & Web

• Build end-to-end features from React Native screens to Spring Boot services
• Lead mobile and web client experiences
• Launch new markets and reduce the manual effort required for subsequent launches
• Address country-specific regulatory, payout, and localization requirements
• Build and maintain tooling for market launches
• Work on balances, ledgers, transfers, and reconciliation
• Integrate with payout partners, KYC vendors, card issuers, and internal platforms
• Invest in automated testing, alerting, wallet recovery, and KYC flows
• Handle deployment, monitoring, on-call, and root cause analysis
• Instrument shipped products and analyze user drop-off in cash-to-balance conversion
• Collaborate with teams on US East Coast time using written and asynchronous communication

• 7+ years building and shipping production software
• Strong React and React Native experience
• Production mobile app development and maintenance experience
• Fluency in TypeScript
• Solid backend engineering in Java and Spring Boot, or comparable experience and willingness to learn them quickly
• RESTful API design
• Relational data modeling
• Familiarity with distributed systems failure modes
• Automated testing and CI/CD experience
• Comfort working with legacy systems and incremental refactoring
• Ability to operate with limited direction in a small, fast-moving team
• Existing right to work in Germany or Portugal
• Nice to have: payments or fintech at scale, including ledgering, reconciliation, KYC/AML, PCI, and chargebacks
• Nice to have: crypto, stablecoins, blockchain payment rails, wallet and custody infrastructure, and smart contracts
• Nice to have: native iOS or Android experience alongside React Native
