Senior Java Developer

• Lead the design and development of a scalable cloud-based solution using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
• Develop, test, and deploy software applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions
• Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning
• Implement best practices in Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Integrate RESTful APIs within microservice architectures
• Participate in code reviews
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with client expectations
• Drive collaboration, innovation, and transformation while leveraging AI in projects

• 5+ years of experience as a developer working on large, distributed systems
• 8+ years of development experience in any language, with the last 4 years focused on Java for server-side applications
• Expert in Core Java 1.8 and above
• Proficient with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful/JSON web services in a micro-service architecture
• Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and Assert-J
• Strong experience with messaging frameworks such as JMS and ActiveMQ
• Proficient in Git and familiar with continuous integration systems like Jenkins and GitHub
• Comfortable with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficient in Spring JDBC template, JPA, and Hibernate
• High-level understanding of in-memory distributed data storage systems like memcache and Hazelcast
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong desire to solve complex problems and learn new technologies
• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
• Experience with cloud deployments, preferably Azure
• Familiarity with Maven and IntelliJ IDE
• Understanding of profiling tools and ability to evaluate third-party libraries
• Experience with international software development considerations (multi-lingual, multi-currency)
