DevOps Engineer

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows in customer projects
• Build and operate Kubernetes and container platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
• Build infrastructure as code and automate it with Terraform on AWS and Azure
• Set up monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana
• Optimize existing infrastructures
• Oversee test automation and releases
• Share knowledge within the team and learn from experienced Senior Engineers
• Deliver highly available, scalable, and secure systems in customer projects—from strategic consulting through ongoing operations

• Completed degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field, with excellent grades
• Strong backend programming skills in Java or Python
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Experience with version control using Git
• Passion for programming, demonstrated through GitHub, open-source contributions, a home lab, or personal projects
• Strong commitment to code quality and excellent analytical skills
• Fluent German (C2 level) and good English
• Residence and work authorization in Germany
• Nice to have: Go, Ansible, or Pulumi; GitOps with Argo CD and Helm
• Nice to have: Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry
• Nice to have: Architecture experience with microservices, DDD, event-driven systems, or Clean Architecture
• Nice to have: Cloud migrations, multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, or OpenStack
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or CKA (if you do not have them yet, you can earn them with us)
• For junior candidates: Working student experience in backend development, DevOps, or infrastructure is welcome
