Wintel and Linux Product Architect – IT Technical Lead

• Lead the design and implementation of complex Wintel and Linux server solutions, including operating systems, virtualization platforms, and associated infrastructure components
• Develop and maintain architectural standards, policies, and procedures for Wintel and Linux environments
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security requirements
• Evaluate new Wintel and Linux technologies and provide adoption and integration recommendations
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal server infrastructure performance
• Provide expert technical guidance and support for critical incidents and problems
• Act as a subject matter expert for escalations
• Develop and maintain documentation for Wintel and Linux architectural designs and configurations
• Mentor junior engineers and administrators and provide technical leadership
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning
• Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Wintel and Linux server administration and architecture
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and related services
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux distributions such as RHEL and Ubuntu and associated services such as HA Proxy
• Deep understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, storage systems (SAN/NAS), and server security best practices
• Proven ability to design and implement highly available and disaster recovery solutions for Wintel and Linux
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Relevant industry certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or VCP are highly desirable
• Fluent English is a must
