ABAP Developer

• Perform activities throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through support for final implementation
• Join the development team and take ownership of development work items for each Sprint
• Conduct analysis, design, programming, testing, and requirements activities
• Manage your own work and promptly flag delays or blockers to the team
• Provide guidance and support to the project team’s developers
• Code and integrate software components according to technical specifications
• Provide support to the IT team and client users regarding developed components, modules, and packages
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to the client
• Perform customizations using ABAP code or the Web Dynpro platform
• Program and develop software

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a completed undergraduate degree in any field combined with a certificate of a graduate program (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours
• Preferred experience: 3 years of experience developing systems using ABAP and Web Dynpro in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment
• Knowledge of ABAP (reports, function modules, ALV, Smart Forms, SAPscript)
• Knowledge of Web Dynpro ABAP
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC
• Experience with the SE80, SE11, SE37, SE93, and SE24 tools
• Knowledge of integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and SOAP Web Services
• Knowledge of the transport cycle using SAP CTS (Change and Transport System)
• Familiarity with SAP data modeling (transparent tables, views, and domains)
