Test Manager

• Define and maintain the Digital Services test strategy, policy, governance model, lifecycle, quality gates, templates and evidence requirements
• Design, develop, administer and improve the test-management platform, including repositories, plans, suites, cases, executions, traceability, dashboards, defect links, permissions and reporting
• Create reusable test assets, naming conventions, workflows, status definitions, approval controls and operating guidance
• Develop project-level master test plans covering scope, objectives, test levels, environments, data, resources, responsibilities, criteria, dependencies, risks, schedule and sign-off
• Coordinate end-to-end functional, integration, interface, workflow, regression, UAT, configuration, migration, performance, security and operational-readiness testing
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability across requirements, workflows, interfaces, risks, test cases, defects and approvals
• Coordinate test environments, builds, interfaces, devices, accounts, roles, permissions, test data and supporting documentation
• Plan test cycles, allocate responsibilities, confirm tester readiness, facilitate execution, monitor progress and escalate blockers
• Provide testers and Business Owners with test scripts, guidance, briefing sessions and execution support
• Lead defect triage and manage defect recording, prioritization, assignment, investigation, retesting and closure
• Produce test dashboards and status reports covering quality, coverage, execution progress, defect severity, readiness and decisions
• Manage formal test-completion and sign-off processes, maintaining sign-off records, conditions, exceptions, waivers and outstanding actions
• Provide evidence-based test-readiness recommendations for go-live while leaving final deployment decisions to authorized governance and accountable owners
• Support go-live and hypercare by confirming regression scope, validating fixes, monitoring production issues and incorporating lessons learned
• Coach project teams and testers and capture quality trends and recurring failure themes to improve delivery standards and product quality

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in software testing, information technology, health informatics, engineering, business systems or a related discipline
• Recognised software-testing or test-management certification is desirable
• Project-management, agile delivery, service-management, quality-management or clinical-safety training is advantageous
• Fluent professional English
• Demonstrable experience managing testing for complex digital, clinical, enterprise or integrated technology programmes
• Experience designing or administering a test-management platform and establishing reusable test processes, repositories, dashboards and governance controls
• Experience coordinating testing across multiple systems, interfaces, vendors, teams, countries or sites
• Experience with healthcare platforms such as PACS, RIS, patient-facing mobile applications or comparable integrated systems is strongly preferred
• Experience managing requirements traceability, test planning, execution, defect triage, UAT, regression and formal sign-off
• Experience operating in a regulated environment with strong evidence, audit, data-protection or safety requirements is desirable
• Additional Affidea market languages are an advantage
• Ability to travel around Europe when needed
• Authorization to work in Europe
