Support, Operations & Accounting Specialist

• Serve as a product and accounting subject-matter expert for customers and their accountants
• Act as the liaison between business owners, in-house accountants, and accounting firms
• Understand and investigate issues encountered by users
• Provide answers or solutions, and escalate issues to technical teams when necessary
• Help in-house accountants and accounting firms import their data into Pennylane to facilitate migration
• Continuously develop knowledge of the product, company, and departments
• Receive, qualify, and resolve accounting-related requests
• Track requests through to the complete resolution of tickets
• Handle increasingly complex customer requests
• Create and update customer-facing help resources
• Share accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with colleagues
• Pass constructive customer feedback on to product teams
• Identify areas for improvement and lead projects that enhance team efficiency

• Accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Accounting Management)
• At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm, ideally covering at least three tax seasons
• Direct experience working with a business owner is a plus
• Strong interest in innovative work tools and new technologies
• Self-motivated, with the ability to solve problems independently and find solutions
• Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus
• Professional proficiency in English
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly to users
• Ability to understand and respond to customer needs while delivering excellent service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the product
• Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with product developments
• Must have the right to work in France; the employer does not sponsor visas
