QA Engineer – Data

• Champion data quality across platforms, pipelines and reporting solutions
• Test and validate data transformations, integrations and data products
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions
• Partner with Data Engineers, Analysts and Product teams to define quality standards and embed best practices
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
• Validate dashboards, reports and analytics products
• Contribute to QA frameworks, testing practices and data governance standards
• Help shape quality engineering within a modern cloud-based data environment

• Experience in Data QA, Data Engineering, Software Testing or a related technical field
• Strong SQL skills and ability to validate, analyse and troubleshoot data
• Experience testing data pipelines, data warehouses, reporting solutions or analytics platforms
• Exposure to automated testing, scripting or programming languages such as Python
• Strong understanding of data quality principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset, growth mentality and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or similar technologies highly regarded
• Candidates must reside in Malaysia with full working rights
