NESsT is a social enterprise organization that supports dignified job creation benefiting people and the planet. They invest in enterprises that create quality jobs for underserved communities, focusing on improving employment and income opportunities. Over the past 27 years, NESsT has invested over $34 million in 245 social enterprises, creating over 112,000 employment and income generation opportunities, and training over 35,000 entrepreneurs. NESsT operates various initiatives, including the Refugee Employment Initiative and the Racial Equity Initiative, with efforts concentrated in regions like Brazil, the Southern Cone, the Andes, Poland, the Baltics, Romania, and the Balkans.
