Chinese - English Translator, Short-term Contract

• Work and communicate directly with clients in English
• Translate written content accurately between English and Simplified Chinese in both directions
• Maintain consistent meaning, tone and terminology for casino and entertainment content
• Translate and localize content for software applications, websites and mobile apps
• Review and proofread translations for accuracy, consistency and quality

• Advanced written proficiency in both Simplified Chinese and English
• HSK Level 6 or equivalent Chinese proficiency (for non-native Chinese speakers)
• IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL iBT equivalent, or equivalent English proficiency (for non-native English speakers)
• Ability to translate accurately in both directions: Simplified Chinese to English and English to Simplified Chinese
• Must pass a bilingual translation assessment
• Experience translating software applications, websites and mobile app content
• Experience with UI/UX, technical documentation and software terminology
• CATTI Level 2 or Level 3 (Translation) preferred
• NAATI Certified Translator (Chinese–English, in the relevant translation direction) preferred
• ATA Certified Translator (English–Chinese or Chinese–English, in the relevant direction) preferred
