Senior Java Spring Developer

• Develop easy and intuitive digital products
• Perform development, problem-solving, management, and human interaction tasks

• Work with Java, Spring, REST/gRPC, reactive patterns, distributed systems, databases, CI pipelines, containers, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools
• Contribute to innovation and overcome technical challenges while building skills

• 5+ years of working experience in Back-end Development with Java
• Deep expertise in the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and REST/gRPC
• Experience with reactive patterns and JVM internals, including memory barriers, JIT compilation, and heap management
• Outstanding proficiency with Agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot
• C++ professional working knowledge is a plus
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis caching layers, and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Daily use of GitLab CI pipelines and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with distributed systems and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger
• Proficiency in writing well-designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Must live in Portugal or be willing and legally qualified to live and work there
