Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning

• Provide technical solutions for new features and support existing functionality
• Design and detail machine learning and data solutions to meet business needs
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems
• Conduct data exploration, preparation, and analysis activities, from model conception through validation
• Interpret results and generate insights focused on measurable business impact
• Define key business questions and create datasets capable of answering them
• Implement, fine-tune, and optimize data platforms and solutions based on streaming and distributed processing
• Design, develop, and operate solutions using AWS Analytics and Machine Learning services
• Apply supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and deep learning techniques as required by project needs
• Use experimentation, versioning, and model monitoring tools to ensure delivery quality

• Strong programming logic and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing and detailing solutions
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with machine learning
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and/or computer vision
• Experience with AWS Analytics and Machine Learning services, such as Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, and Amazon SageMaker
• Experience implementing data platforms
• Hands-on experience implementing and performance-tuning solutions using Kinesis, Kafka, Spark, and/or Storm
• Experience designing, developing, and operating solutions using Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon EMR, NoSQL technologies, and third-party solutions
• Experience with one or more tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Flink, Spark, Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, and Amazon Kinesis
• Knowledge of data science libraries and tools such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Statsmodels, SciPy, Jupyter, Databricks, and MLflow
• Ability to work resiliently in dynamic environments
• Strong dependency management and cross-team alignment skills
