Field Application Engineer

• Develop understanding of the broader Littelfuse portfolio and support customers in identifying complete system-level solutions
• Provide technical support throughout the application development and design-in process
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend technical solutions with internal product and engineering specialists
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support laboratory testing, validation, and investigation of application-related problems
• Partner with Sales to identify technical opportunities and support design wins in strategic customer projects
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product training for customers and distribution partners
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Quality to communicate customer needs and contribute to product and technology development
• Monitor technical opportunities, support customer follow-up, and share application knowledge across the EMEA organization
• Travel across EMEA for customer projects, technical meetings, and training activities
• Serve as a primary technical interface between Littelfuse and customers, translating application challenges into system-level solutions

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline
• At least 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience in Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, Design Engineering, or a similar technical role
• Experience with power semiconductors is considered a strong advantage
• Equivalent experience in power electronics, industrial automation, protection, sensing, or related application areas will also be considered
• Ability to understand system architecture, technical specifications, and customer application requirements
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and support a broad range of technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical troubleshooting and validation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to engineering and commercial audiences
• Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to work closely with customers and Sales teams
• Candidates from design engineering must be comfortable in a customer-facing role
• Fluent English
• Willingness to travel approximately 50-60% across EMEA
