Junior Consultant, PATT

About the role

• Support configuration of Workday Payroll elements, including pay components, earnings/deductions, and accumulations
• Assist with payroll testing, including parallel runs and reconciliation checks
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, configuration workbooks, and training materials
• Support data validation and troubleshoot payroll issues during testing and hypercare phases
• Attend client workshops and calls, take notes, and follow up on actions
• Assist with year-end processing tasks and statutory reporting support for the UK and Ireland
• Build understanding of client business requirements and translate them into system configuration
• Collaborate with the wider delivery team across HR and finance workstreams

• Some exposure to payroll processes (in-house, bureau, or consulting)
• Ireland payroll experience preferred
• Basic understanding of Irish PAYE, PRSI and USC
• Interest in HR systems or payroll technology
• Strong Excel skills and general comfort working with data
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field desirable but not required
• Eager to learn and interested in payroll and systems consulting
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking data
• Confident communicator, comfortable asking questions and taking direction
• Organised and able to manage multiple small tasks across a project
• Team player able to work in a collaborative, client-facing environment
• Prepared to work with new technologies

• Training will be provided to build understanding of Irish PAYE, PRSI and USC
