Lead DevOps Engineer

• Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
• Streamline infrastructure setup through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Lead DevOps strategy across development, QA, and production environments
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in automated workflows
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues across environments
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement in release management and system reliability

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
• Previous experience comparable to 8+ years
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency with AWS and related services
• Experience with system monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD
• Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Exposure to serverless architectures
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001)
• Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments
• Understanding of agile and DevSecOps practices
