Sales Manager – South Wales/South West
About the role
• Generate new business opportunities in the area of responsibility and maintain the project pipeline
• Achieve personal annual sales targets
• Maintain knowledge of key customers, decision makers, influencers, organizational structures, and decision processes
• Maintain positive and open relationships with customers and internal Doka employees
• Use the Doka product portfolio to deliver economical and professional solutions and increase revenues through upselling
• Develop an understanding of competitors’ products
• Communicate customer requirements accurately to the engineering department
• Resolve customer issues and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Lead and coordinate with team members and departments throughout the sales process from inquiry to project closure
• Manage accounts, including complaints, queries, and account payments in line with Doka trading terms
• Supply management with reports on sales activities, customer needs, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services
• Maintain customer and project information in the CRM system to ensure accurate revenue and material-requirement forecasting
• Degree or diploma in a construction related discipline would be preferable
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry and ideally the formwork sector
• Strong technical sales skills with at least 5 years experience
• Strong IT skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office
• Ability to create and confidently deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
• Relationship management skills and ability to deal with customer feedback
• Understanding of key contractual terms
• Passionate to find solutions for clients through an added-value approach
• Open-minded and team oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to self motivate and work unsupervised
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Strong interpersonal, communication, selling and negotiation skills and a strong numerical aptitude
• High levels of prioritisation, time management and organizational skills
