Wholesale Footwear Manager – EMEA
About the role
• Develop and execute the EMEA wholesale footwear strategy aligned with global objectives and regional opportunities
• Build and strengthen partnerships with outdoor specialty retailers, mountain shops, trail running specialists, premium sporting goods retailers and selected omnichannel partners
• Lead and develop regional sales representatives, Key Account Managers, Area Sales Managers, Technical Representatives and agencies
• Manage commercial planning across markets and strategic accounts, including annual agreements, Joint Business Plans, seasonal pre-orders, in-season replenishment and sell-through performance
• Collaborate across functions and international markets to optimize assortments, forecasting, inventory productivity, merchandising standards and collection strategies
• Deliver sustainable double-digit growth across priority EMEA markets while protecting premium distribution and brand equity
• Strengthen retailer and distribution partner relationships
• Increase footwear sell-through through assortment planning, retail activation, technical education and premium merchandising
• Improve forecasting accuracy, inventory productivity and commercial visibility
• Develop multi-year business plans by region, country and strategic account
• Elevate ARC’TERYX footwear visibility through retail initiatives, athlete engagement, product testing, field clinics and consumer experiences
• Build a high-performance regional sales culture focused on consultative selling, collaboration, coaching and partnerships
• Maintain distribution and channel discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or a related field
• 8–10+ years of international sales experience, ideally within premium outdoor, technical footwear or a related premium sporting goods environment
• Proven track record managing wholesale business across multiple EMEA markets
• Strong network within the European outdoor footwear and specialty retail community
• Experience negotiating complex international commercial agreements and developing long-term strategic customer partnerships
• Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth while protecting premium brand positioning and disciplined distribution
• Strong commercial, analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Experienced people leader and coach
• Comfortable working across multiple countries, cultures and markets
• Experience using Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms and/or retail analytics tools
• Fluent in English; German highly desirable; French, Italian or Spanish advantageous
• Approximately 50–70% international travel throughout EMEA, with a focus on Europe
• Approximately four annual journeys to Vancouver for key company moments
