Senior Cloud & DevOps Consultant

• Structure technical requirements and develop robust solutions
• Advise clients on technical decisions and cloud and DevOps matters
• Analyze existing IT environments, architectures, and technical requirements
• Build and further develop complex cloud platforms, with a focus on Kubernetes in private-cloud environments and selected public-cloud providers
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and release cycles
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions
• Coach team members on cloud and platform-related topics
• Contribute to internal ARES projects
• Implement solutions hands-on in client projects

• Completed degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
• Several years of experience with cloud-native technologies and platform engineering, particularly in private-cloud or hybrid environments
• In-depth knowledge of public-cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and STACKIT
• Relevant experience in a DevOps environment
• Ability to advise clients on technical topics and explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Project experience in the public sector or KRITIS-regulated environments
• Experience in IT security
• Independent, client-oriented, and strong communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset
• Motivation to quickly learn new topics and take on responsibility
• Willingness to travel within Germany, averaging no more than 3 days per month
• Excellent German and English skills
• Willingness to undergo a security screening (SÜ1 or SÜ2) in accordance with the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
