Senior Reconciliations and Payments Analyst – Fixed Term Cover

• Own daily reconciliation monitoring by checking that bank cash matches client balances in internal systems
• Flag and investigate reconciliation breaks and mismatches
• Resolve reconciliation breaks end-to-end, involving engineering for internal issues and banks or payment providers for external issues
• Maintain reporting and support month-end close, vendor reporting, regulatory reporting, and recurring reporting cycles
• Use Excel and data visualization tools to monitor and track reconciliation data
• Contribute to automating manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools
• Handle occasional manual money transfers accurately
• Manage stakeholders across engineering, treasury, and external banking partners
• Support payment operations and maintain reliable reconciliation processes

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations
• Experience as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation exposure
• Comfortable using Excel
• Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Working understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems
• Diligent and detail-oriented, particularly when handling money movements
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, frequently changing environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Confidence communicating with internal teams and external partners such as banks
• Able to start immediately or on very short notice
• Open to a fixed-term contract of approximately 5 months
• Experience working at a neobank or fintech preferred
• Mathematical or quantitative background preferred
• Experience building or improving automations within reconciliation or payments workflows preferred
• Basic SQL or data analysis skills preferred
