• Deliver practical training on the fundamentals and potential of AI in engineering
• Teach AI-supported working methods in the design process
• Teach modern CAD workflows with AI support
• Teach Generative Design and automated design variant generation
• Teach AI-supported decision-making in product development
• Teach AI-based error detection and quality assurance
• Teach the evaluation and validation of AI-generated design results
• Support the successful integration of AI into existing development and design processes
• Support participants in the “Smart Design: AI Skills for CAD Professionals” qualification program
• Provide a clear understanding of the entire design cycle, from requirements analysis and concept development through design, variant generation, optimization, evaluation, and documentation
• Demonstrate where AI creates added value and where technical expertise, experience, and engineering judgment remain essential

• Completed degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, design engineering, product development, or a comparable field
• At least two years of professional experience in design, development, or technical engineering
• Very good knowledge of at least one of the following CAD systems: Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Experience with parametric design and modern CAD workflows
• Solid understanding of product development and design processes in mechanical engineering
• Practical experience using AI productively throughout the development and design process
• Experience in requirements analysis and concept development
• Experience developing technical solutions
• Experience in design and modeling
• Experience with generative design variant creation
• Experience optimizing components and assemblies
• Experience technically evaluating solution variants
• Experience in error detection and quality improvement
• Experience creating technical documentation, specifications, and bills of materials

• Ability to professionally evaluate AI-generated results with regard to functionality, feasibility, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
