Spanish Translator – eCommerce

• Translate written pieces from English to Colombian Spanish
• Maintain the original meaning, format, and tone of copy
• Read and thoroughly understand the context of source material
• Use specialized dictionaries and translation tools
• Proofread completed translations
• Identify and correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

• Native Colombian Spanish speaker
• Availability of at least 5–10 hours a week
• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role
• Excellent proofreading skills, including identifying grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
• Good knowledge of content editing tools
• Familiarity with translation software
• Fluent in English in addition to native Spanish
• Keen eye for detail
• Time-management skills

• Payment per hour for the first 6 months
• Aim for a 10% increment in the first year working with the company
• Time spent researching, brainstorming, and proofreading is counted toward paid time
• Quick test following successful application
• Growing translation team of 25+ translators
