Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual, API

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end manual test scenarios, functional tests, and regression suites
• Verify platform stability following deployments and feature releases
• Test REST APIs and validate backend service integrations using Postman
• Verify system responses, data structures, and contract compliance across RESTful services
• Execute SQL queries for data validation, defect investigation, data-flow troubleshooting, and backend state verification
• Perform accessibility audits and feature testing in compliance with WCAG standards
• Document, track, and manage bugs, test executions, and workflow anomalies in Jira
• Maintain traceability from product requirements through defect resolution
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Translate business requirements and product specifications into comprehensive test strategies
• Inspect application logs and system events to isolate performance or functional bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support to ensure reliable product releases

• 3–5 years of professional QA experience, with a strong focus on manual testing, end-to-end workflows, and user functionality
• Ability to interpret product needs, identify business problems, and translate them into testing scenarios, validation plans, and regression suites
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and validating backend integrations/services using Postman
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation, troubleshooting, and test verification
• Extensive experience documenting defects, test results, and workflow issues using Jira
• Practical experience with WCAG standards and accessibility testing tooling
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint cycles, testing ceremonies, and release validation
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
• Experience using Datadog for log review, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Kafka and asynchronous workflow validation
• Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• General understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release validation
• Prior experience working with SaaS platforms or complex customer-facing/employer-facing applications
• English required for interviews, documentation, and daily communication
