VP, Business Development

About the role

• Lead the strategy, growth, and commercial outcomes of Acumatica’s Independent Software Vendor ecosystem
• Lead, develop, and scale a team responsible for ecosystem growth and individual partner plans
• Own and execute the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, revenue targets, and expansion roadmap for the ISV partner ecosystem
• Drive strategic ISV recruiting and ecosystem development
• Own the Fulfilled by Acumatica program
• Drive quantifiable partner-influenced opportunities, solution completeness, and thought leadership
• Partner with Sales and VAR channel teams to drive net-new opportunities and increase joint customer ACV
• Establish programs and execution plans for ecosystem initiatives
• Collaborate with Marketing, Partner Programs, Partner Management, Product, and the VAR/partner community
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic ISVs that address product capability gaps and unlock new vertical markets
• Serve as executive sponsor for strategic ISV relationships and represent Acumatica at industry, technology, and partner events
• Establish KPI frameworks, joint business plans, and revenue reporting across ISV tiers and integration initiatives
• Partner with Product Management and Product Strategy to recruit and develop partners supporting industry go-to-market motions
• Drive net-new customer acquisition through ISV integration strategies

• Proven leadership as a business development leader within an ERP company or as a quota-carrying sales executive within a complex professional services firm
• Demonstrated track record building successful business functions within SMB/LMM ERP, especially manufacturing, distribution, and/or construction
• Proven and verifiable history of driving year-over-year growth to meet benchmarks and company goals
• Prior experience building programs and scaling new programs
• Strong negotiation skills
• Keen interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure, just-in-time environment
• Ability to analyze standards and procedures for workflow and change management
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with domestic and international customers
• Ability to establish rapport and successfully work with technical and non-technical internal and external constituents
