Senior Steel Reinforcement Estimator

• Perform precise material quantity takeoffs using advanced digital software for structural steel reinforcement, metal fabrication, rebar, and trench mesh systems
• Interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and concrete reinforcement schedules
• Use drafting and design systems to review spatial dimensions and extract material metadata directly from project models
• Compile complete cost estimates, evaluate supplier quotations, perform risk analysis, and build structured commercial proposals
• Identify discrepancy errors or missing technical documentation in plans and submit Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Maintain and update tracking databases for structural material pricing, labor units, and manufacturing timelines
• Communicate closely with cross-functional project delivery teams via phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Work directly with the Australian client's onshore team

• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven professional experience dedicated to estimating steel-reinforced concrete systems (i.e. Rebar etc)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
• Expert knowledge of digital takeoff systems like Bluebeam Revu or Planswift
• Proficiency in navigating AutoCAD and Revit to verify structural dimensions, layers, and building information models
• Deep familiarity with Australian / international standards, steel structural codes, and construction methodologies
• Superior written and spoken English skills suited for direct coordination with internal teams and vendors
