Mobile Engineer – iOS, Android, React Native, AI

About the role

• Build and ship high-impact features for consumer-facing iOS and/or Android apps used by millions of customers globally
• Leverage React Native, native codebases, and AI-assisted development tooling
• Participate in mobile modernization efforts and improve app architecture, clean code patterns, and platform capabilities
• Write maintainable, well-tested mobile code
• Own features end-to-end from design specification through App Store and Google Play releases
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to integrate APIs, design systems, and product experiences
• Use AI tooling daily for code generation, architectural refactoring, and test automation
• Contribute to cross-platform tooling, performance optimization, and shared component libraries
• Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations

• Strong hands-on experience in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android
• Recent, hands-on production experience building, maintaining, and deploying applications with React Native
• Experience shipping and maintaining apps in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store
• Deep understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or Unidirectional Data Flow
• Hands-on experience shipping production code using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
• Comfortable understanding and contributing across API and backend layers when needed
• Experience owning features end-to-end from technical specification through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations
• Strong grasp of software design principles, automated testing, rigorous code review, and CI/CD pipelines
• 7+ years of experience delivering complex features and driving technical decisions across the mobile team
• Advanced / Fluent English, written and spoken
• React Native experience must be recent and production-based; outdated experience or experience limited to side projects, bootcamps, or academic coursework is not accepted
