Senior Software Developer

• Lead and rapidly build end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s platform
• Design and ship reusable frameworks and shared libraries
• Build technology to prevent bugs and improve software quality
• Interact with customers and gather detailed feedback
• Partner with the ML team to design, integrate, and productionise AI agents and knowledge-graph capabilities
• Contribute to Loopio’s AI roadmap by evaluating third-party models and establishing patterns for agentic workflows and knowledge-graph-grounded retrieval
• Define technical and evaluation guidelines for AI-powered features
• Mentor and coach engineers through technical guidance, design, and code reviews
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
• Develop and maintain automated tests for high-quality, consistent releases
• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and global teams across Canada, the UK, and India

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven track record designing and delivering complex software systems at scale
• Strong backend/API development experience in Python, Java, or PHP
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL or similar
• Proficiency using and designing scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience mentoring engineers through coaching, design, and code reviews
• Exposure to AI technologies, including agents, LLMs, embeddings, or natural language processing
• Comfortable integrating or working with modern AI APIs
• Ability to guide technical design discussions and facilitate technical decision-making
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems
• Frontend development experience with React and JavaScript
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ECS/Fargate, and Lambda
• Typescript, Cypress, Elasticsearch, semantic search, RAG, and third-party app integration are a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship
• Expected to work from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST
