Senior Software Engineer

• Design and deliver primarily web-based applications according to coding standards and guidelines
• Translate client needs into system requirements
• Improve functionality and drive enhancements across the application portfolio
• Create project plans for small-scale initiatives
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules
• Independently develop features using the approved technology stack
• Troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently
• Review peer code and recommend quality, performance, and maintainability improvements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Design and develop database solutions and database objects
• Perform database performance tuning
• Use configuration management tooling and uphold CM processes
• Adhere to organizational QA standards throughout delivery

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code (highly desirable)
• Experience with ASP.NET and MVC
• Source code management with Git
• Strong working knowledge of AWS
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Working knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Jira in an Agile / Scrum environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage customers, onshore counterparts, supervisors, team members, business analysts, and business stakeholders
