Junior Backend Developer, Python

• Further develop our backend centered around DataContentNaicer
• Develop and maintain backend services with Python, such as REST and GraphQL APIs
• Integrate and process data sources in formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML
• Build and optimize data pipelines and data models, including data cleansing and feature parameter selection
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure high-performance, stable, and well-documented APIs
• Write tests and conduct code reviews
• Contribute to an agile team
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend components
• Perform frontend quality assurance in React

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Very strong Python skills, for example with Flask, FastAPI, or Django
• Good foundational knowledge of React
• Experience with API design (REST or GraphQL)
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML
• Basic knowledge of working with databases (relational or NoSQL)
• Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for contributing to a growth-oriented product team
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Experience with data-processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy (nice to have)
• Experience with automation, data pipelines, and ETL processes (nice to have)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms (nice to have)
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing frameworks (nice to have)
• Interest in text automation, semantic data, ontologies, and related topics (nice to have)
