• Examine and document the existing Oracle database structure, including schemas, tables, columns, data types, keys, constraints, indexes, views, sequences, triggers, stored procedures, and functions
• Recreate the corresponding database structure in Azure SQL Managed Instance
• Map Oracle data types and database objects to suitable SQL Server/Azure SQL equivalents and identify compatibility gaps
• Review Oracle-specific SQL, PL/SQL, functions, sequences, identity behavior, triggers, and other database-specific features
• Support conversion to T-SQL or Azure SQL-compatible implementations where required
• Create and maintain schemas, tables, constraints, indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions in the target database
• Validate target schema objects, relationships, constraints, and key definitions against the source Oracle structure
• Prepare and maintain database scripts and support repeatable deployment across development, test, staging, and production environments
• Support data loading and validation by checking record counts, key relationships, data types, nullability, and reconciliation results
• Analyze SQL queries and execution plans, identify bottlenecks, and tune indexes and database objects
• Troubleshoot database connectivity and query issues with backend developers and technical team members
• Manage database permissions and access controls
