Business Development Manager, Experience Studio

• Identify, manage and drive prospects through the sales lifecycle in the Scandinavia live corporate events market
• Contribute to company profitability by focusing on high-revenue-generating opportunities
• Promote and present the Experience Studio portfolio: Sourcing, Event Management, Group Travel and Creative Production
• Lead cross-selling opportunities from Strategic Meeting clients, Business Travel clients and other Amex GBT areas
• Conduct proactive outreach through prospect calls and meetings
• Build relationships and engage at key stakeholder level
• Network and represent the company in industry communities and events
• Work with the creative team to deliver sales material and high-quality pitch responses
• Own RFI and RFP responses and processes as bid captain, leading pricing, negotiations, proposal building, pitch presentations and contracting
• Deliver growth and new sales for The Experience Studio in Scandinavia, with focus on Sweden

• Minimum 2 years experience with a successful track record from a Business Development Role, preferably within event production
• Proven track record in sales negotiations, new business results and closing skills in the corporate events marketplace
• Experience of the live events industry
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Comfortable liaising with C-level, Marketing, Heads of Department, procurement, internal operations and event managers
• Fluent in written and spoken Business Swedish and English
• Any level fluency in a third Scandinavian language would be advantageous
• Excellent client communication and presentation skills
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• Independent, highly motivated and target driven
• Ability to travel by airplane, boat, rail and/or car
