Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer, Python, HTML/JavaScript

• Build and maintain backend services and HTTP APIs in Python with FastAPI
• Build interactive server-rendered HTML interfaces using Jinja templates, HTMX, Alpine, and Tailwind
• Add LLM features through the existing model layer, including prompts, structured output, failure cases, and evaluations
• Use an AI coding tool daily and review generated code before committing
• Design PostgreSQL tables and queries for performance
• Move slow or multi-step work to background workers using Temporal
• Work directly with founders and product teams
• Take tickets from written specification through merged implementation
• Raise concerns early about scope, risk, and alternative approaches

• 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack or backend-leaning web development
• Strong Python and FastAPI background
• Solid JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience building dynamic interfaces without a React-style frontend
• Experience using an LLM inside a product or personal workflow
• Experience using an AI coding assistant and reviewing generated code for correctness and security
• Experience with Linear or another issue tracker
• Understanding of HTTP APIs, sessions, and multi-tenant web application data isolation
• Comfort with Git, including branches, pull requests, and reading diffs
• English at B2 level or better
• Ability to work remotely, own tickets, and ship independently
• Nice to have: HTMX, Alpine.js, Svelte, Temporal, Celery, Airflow, Prefect, Claude API or other model provider APIs
• Nice to have: early-stage or greenfield product experience
