Solutions Architect

• Partner with an account executive as the technical lead on strategic deals, from discovery and architecture design through demos, proofs-of-concept, and technical decisions
• Advise customers on cloud architecture and deployment across self-hosted and LiveKit Cloud on AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Build live demos and reference applications including voice agents, video pipelines, and telephony integrations
• Scope and run proofs-of-concept against clear, shared success criteria and guide customers through production
• Help customers design for scale and reliability by reasoning about connectivity, infrastructure, and end-to-end latency
• Create technical content such as blog posts, guides, webinars, and conference talks
• Act as the technical enabler for the region's pod
• Share field insight with Product and Engineering to help shape the roadmap
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams

• 4+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience with strong customer instincts
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Ability to architect, deploy, and debug real applications
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and networking fundamentals including load balancing, DNS, and firewalls/NAT
• Ability to reason about connectivity, infrastructure, and end-to-end latency
• Strong programming ability in Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go
• Clear communication skills for demos, presentations, and technical writing
• Working knowledge of WebRTC, RTP/SRTP, or WebSockets preferred
• Familiarity with STT/TTS providers, LLM integration, speech-to-speech models, turn detection, and telephony/SIP preferred
• Experience speaking at meetups or conferences, technical writing, or open-source contributions preferred
• Legally authorized to work in Germany or the country of residence
