Senior Specialist, T2 / Target2 Payment Operations

• Own core payment processes, including SCT / SCT Inst recalls, investigations, SWIFT enquiries, missing or incoming funds, rejects, returns and refunds
• Run the T2 platform day to day using the T2 GUI (U2A/A2A)
• Maintain CRDM reference data and establish four-eyes controls and the manual-versus-automated split
• Manage migration from BNP Paribas to direct participation, ensuring payment traceability by BIC and path
• Define retirement timing for BNPP-dependent steps
• Serve as the Payment Operations link to the reconciliation team
• Build incident processes around DNB, FIS and TARGET escalation routes
• Own Payment Operations’ role in DNB reporting and define the ECONS II contingency approach
• Coordinate with the Eurosystem, DNB, SWIFT/NEXI, FIS, correspondent banks, Product and Engineering
• Design and document Payment Operations processes, validate them in August UAT, execute BIC-by-BIC cutover, and operate the processes as business-as-usual
• Ensure documented procedures, passing UAT evidence, clear Customer Support guidance, and stable post-go-live T2 operations

• Hands-on experience with T2 / TARGET Services (RTGS, TIPS), including the GUI and U2A/A2A actions
• Around 2-3+ years in payment operations at a bank, EMI or PSP, ideally with SEPA schemes (SCT, SCT Inst)
• Familiarity with investigations, recalls, returns and SWIFT / ISO 20022 messaging
• Experience writing SOPs and controls, or ability to pick it up quickly
• Comfort working with regulators, partners and technical teams
• Ability to make sign-off and escalation decisions with support from the team
• Fluent English
• Nice to have: CRDM reference-data maintenance experience
• Nice to have: involvement in direct-participation onboarding or sponsor-bank migration
• Nice to have: knowledge of DNB / TARGET-NL conditions, IPR, PSD2, or ECONS II contingency processes
