HR Manager
About the role
• Responsibility for all operational HR activities at the Adelheidsdorf/Celle site
• Strategic and operational involvement throughout the entire employee lifecycle
• Support and advise managers and employees on HR-related and employment-law matters
• Provide advice on organizational development, talent and performance management, and workforce planning
• Prepare and maintain workforce planning files, including tracking headcount, vacancies, new hires, and personnel changes
• Own the end-to-end recruiting process, from aligning on hiring needs and publishing job advertisements through interviews and onboarding
• Prepare employment contracts, contract amendments, employee representative consultation documents, and other HR-related documentation
• Work with the Works Council and prepare and conduct required consultation procedures
• Handle employment-law matters, written warnings, absence management, disciplinary measures, and employee meetings
• Implement employee development initiatives and training plans, as well as talent and succession planning
• Ensure proper HR administration, including maintaining personnel files, HR systems, and master data
• Prepare HR analyses, reports, metrics, and presentations, and derive recommendations for action
• Support audits and ensure compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and internal requirements
• Contribute to HR projects and continuously develop and optimize HR processes
• Successfully completed degree in business administration, human resources, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent experience in HR management
• Several years of experience in a comparable role within an operational HR environment
• In-depth knowledge of German employment law, social security law, and works constitution law
• Experience working with a Works Council
• Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
• Ability to interpret HR metrics effectively and prepare them for decision-making
• Strategic thinking and a forward-looking approach to work
• Ability to plan and implement multiple topics in a structured manner simultaneously
• High level of commitment, open and collaborative working style, and strong service orientation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with HR systems such as Dayforce or Accurat is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Ideally, awareness of Customer Specific Requirements, IATF 16949/ISO 9001, ISO 14001, occupational health and safety, and TISAX
